1. Who we are

Filmsk is an iPhone app for making 35mm-look street portraits from words you type and street photographs you keep in Notes. Questions: Filmsk@outlook.com.

2. What Filmsk does

Studio: you enter outfit, street scene, film color, and mood. Generate builds an English description and creates a portrait.

Notes: you take a street photograph with the camera or choose one from the Photo Library. You may run Analyze Scene. You may send selected phrases into Studio.

Stories: you group pictures into Opening, Main, and Closing frames and write a title and caption.

Grain Store: you buy Grains with Apple In-App Purchase. One Generate uses 10 Grains.

Filmsk does not provide accounts, social posting, maps, or a Filmsk cloud library.

3. Information kept on this iPhone

The app stores, in SQLite and the app’s private files: Studio draft words; Notes (photograph files, titles, your text, and analysis phrases you keep); Stories (titles, captions, and frame order); generated pictures; Grain balance and the purchase records used to credit Grains.

There is no Filmsk login. Deleting a note or story removes that local record. Removing the app removes Filmsk files on that device.

4. Third-party AI services and data disclosure

Filmsk uses two third-party AI services. They run only after you tap the matching action. Requests use HTTPS.

Analyze Scene — Kimi (Moonshot AI). Provider: Moonshot AI, also called Kimi. Model: kimi-k2.6 (thinking disabled). Endpoint: https://api.moonshot.cn/v1/chat/completions. Purpose: suggest English scene phrases from a street photograph. Data sent: the photograph you selected for that note, as a JPEG. When: only after you tap Analyze Scene. Not sent for this action: your Studio words, Grain balance, or purchase records.

Generate — Cloudflare Workers AI. Provider: Cloudflare Workers AI. Model: FLUX.1 Schnell (steps = 4). Purpose: create a street portrait from a confirmed English description. Data sent: the English description assembled from your Studio fields (outfit, street scene, film color, mood). When: only after you tap Generate · 10 Grains. Not sent for this action: your Notes photographs.

Allowing Camera or Photo Library access is not the same as sending a picture to Kimi. A draft sitting in Studio is not sent to Cloudflare until you generate.

5. What we do not send to those AI services

Filmsk does not send to Kimi or Cloudflare: your name, email, or Apple ID; device identifiers or advertising identifiers; location or contacts; payment card details (Grain purchases are processed by Apple); your full Photos library (only the one photograph you choose for Analyze Scene).

Filmsk does not sell your photographs or descriptions.

6. Other information sent off the device

Grain Store: Apple processes the In-App Purchase. Filmsk reads the App Store result on the device to credit Grains.

7. Device permissions

Camera — when you photograph a street scene for a note. Photo Library — when you choose a street photograph for a note. Filmsk asks only when you use that action. You can refuse. Refusing a permission does not, by itself, send data to Kimi or Cloudflare.

8. Your choices

You can skip Analyze Scene and Generate. You can delete a note or a story on this device. You will also see a first-run screen that explains this AI data use before you enter the app.

9. Children

Filmsk is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the app to submit photographs of children or personal data about children.

10. Retention

On-device records last until you delete them or remove the app. Moonshot AI, Cloudflare, and Apple keep what they receive under their own policies. Filmsk does not claim that those parties keep nothing.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top is the latest update. If you continue to use Filmsk after an update, you accept the revised policy.
